Intimate night with Natalie Merchant
Lovely show! She was very visibly excited to be performing. She sang lots of songs from the new album, a lot of older favorites, and some more of her own favorites. The venue was beautiful, sound was great as always. The "band" that she had with her was amazing. Two violins, a viola, cello bass player, guitar player and piano player. There was an accompanying vocalist who was also very good. Overall, highly recommend going to see Natalie Merchant on this tour. She sounds great, and you never know if/when she'll come back around.
Excellent Concert
I love Natalie Merchant and was so excited to see her in concert. She didn't disappoint! The fact that it was at the St. Augustine Amphitheater, and on a Friday night, was icing on the cake. It's a great place to see a concert. The weather was perfect and enjoying the slight breeze while watching the gorgeous sunset and listening to Natalie was sublime. I love all the food and drink vendors available, I've always been able to find what I like there. Thank you for continuing to provide top quality entertainment for us locals.
Beautiful Concert!
As a casual fan of Natalie Merchant, I went to the show expecting to only know a handful of the songs, and that turned out to be the case. It didn't matter at all. Her voice was extremely strong and lush, and the arrangements of the orchestra were gorgeous and played to perfection. I felt like I was in a trance the whole time. Great music can feel life altering, and that's what this was. In addition, she playfully interacted with the audience, appearing to have a great time, which is always nice to see. I would DEFINITELY recommend this tour! 10/10
